Celebs share New Year's resolutions for their pets

LOS ANGELES (AP) â€" Tony La Russa would like his dog to spend some-more time in his lap. Bob Barker would like his rabbit to spend some-more time in a spawn box. And Lea Michele would like her cat to spend reduction time in her string round jar.

The Associated Press asked several luminary pet owners about New Year's resolutions for their animals â€" and resolutions their pets competence have for them.

La Russa, a reigning World Series champion manager, would like it if his 12-year-old Chihuahua Twiggy would burst into his path each time he sat down. "I'd like that sexual soundness each time, not usually sometimes," he said.

And on interest of Twiggy, La Russa would solve to "be a chairman that Twiggy wants me to be and deserves for me to be."

Jazz thespian Roberta Flack would solve "not to have to desire Yogi, my shiba inu dog, to eat his breakfast or cooking so his food play would not be looking during us all day long! He likes to be begged to eat â€" coerced â€" given one punch from a play by hand."

And for her: "That we speak reduction and quietly. we have a sign indicate Siamese, Mimi-La, who likes to put her front duke on my face as if to say, 'Shhhhh.'"

Flack didn't embody resolutions for 8 dogs, 12 cats, a llama, 6 horses, 3 donkeys, several Chinese chickens, a highway runner, 3 flamingos and several geese she cares for after adopting them from petting zoos and other places.

She wishes Oscar a chase would "not be so assertive toward strangers. That would be good since we unequivocally don't wish to get sued."

Academy Award leader Hilary Swank pronounced of her dual dogs: "They are so great. ... we wish they could do each speak with me and usually lay right here and here. That would be my New Year's resolutions for my dogs â€" that they're always with me."

Josh Duhamel would like his rescue dog Meatloaf "to unequivocally work on his coordination and work on removing a small some-more practice since he's struggling right now. But he's still happy and he's not in pain. But it's unequivocally tough to get him to do anything. He's super lazy. He's like maybe a many unathletic animal you've ever seen."

Country thespian Buddy Jewell wants his Akita Jack to "eat some-more pig clout bones!" And Jack, in turn, wants Jewell to "Grill some-more pig chops!"

Bluegrass thespian Janie Fricke pronounced her favorite pet is Rico, an 18-year-old African grey parrot who plays like a baby. Her wish for him? "I wish he lives to be 80, as a book says."

And if he were to make a resolution? "He hopes we keep feeding him his fave break â€" peanuts."

Retired persion uncover horde Bob Barker's has an 8-year-old rabbit. Mr. Rabbit already follows Barker around a residence "helping me in each approach he can." If Barker could ask for more, it would be "to use his box each time, not usually when it's convenient."

And Mr. Rabbit's fortitude for Barker? What else? "To continue propelling folks to have their pets spayed and neutered â€" including rabbits."
