Mitt Romney has picked adult a major, if still unofficial, publicity in his bid for a Republican presidential nomination.
Former President George H.W. Bush told a Houston Chronicle in a raceâ"though he stopped brief of strictly endorsing his 2012 bid.
"I consider Romney is a best choice for us," Bush told a Houston Chronicle. "I like Perry, though he doesn't seem to be going anywhere; he's not surging forward."
The ex-president, who is privately tighten to Romney, praised a former governor's "stability, experience, principles."
"He's mature and reasonableâ"not a explosve thrower," Bush said, adding that he didn't meant to sully anybody in a field. "I've got to be a small careful, since we like Perry; he's a governor."
